About the
Founder.
Migo started with me.
Not as a business idea—but as a very real, very personal need.
For most of my life, I’ve been chasing some version of “healthy.” I’ve tried the diets, the apps, the programs. I’ve seen what works… and more often, what doesn’t stick. I’ve also walked through my own journey with body image and recovery, and I carry that with me in everything I build.
After having my two girls, something shifted.
I realized I never want them to question their worth based on how they look. In our house, we say: your heart is what makes you beautiful—but it sure is fun to accessorize. I want them to grow up confident, grounded, and proud of who they are.
And I knew that meant I had to get there first.
Not in a perfect-body kind of way—but in a peaceful, strong, proud-of-myself kind of way.
At the same time, life didn’t slow down. I’ve built a career in retail and technology that I’m incredibly grateful for—but it’s demanding. Travel, pressure, long days. And like so many women, I found myself trying to be everything at once: high performer, present mom, supportive wife… and somehow also take care of myself.
Something always had to give.
(Usually… it was me.)
After my second daughter—and stepping into my 40s with all the hormonal changes that come with it—it got harder. What used to work didn’t anymore. The strength was slower to come back. The motivation came in waves.
And the biggest question became:
How do I stay consistent in a life that isn’t?
I didn’t need another rigid plan.
I didn’t need more pressure.
And I definitely didn’t need to spend thousands of dollars on coaches, programs, or treatments to feel like I was doing it “right.”
I needed support that fit into real life.
So I built Migo.
Inspired by the word amigo—friend—Migo is the wellness companion I always wished I had. Something that meets you where you are, not where you think you’re supposed to be.
A place where you can say:
“I had a margarita and chips and queso today…”
And instead of guilt, you get:
“Good. You lived your life. Let’s adjust tomorrow and keep going.”
Because that’s what this is.
It’s not perfection.
It’s not all-or-nothing.
It’s not starting over every Monday.
It’s real life.
It’s consistency over time.
It’s someone in your corner—encouraging you, nudging you, and helping you adjust without shame.
I built Migo for women like me.
Women who are doing a lot.
Women who are tired of starting over.
Women who want to feel strong, energized, and proud of themselves again—without sacrificing their life to do it.
This is just the beginning. Launching Migo means more to me than I can fully put into words.
If you’re here, I hope you feel this:
You don’t have to be perfect.
You don’t have to do this alone.
And you are absolutely allowed to take care of yourself, too.
We celebrate progress over perfection.
Always.
